SMS terms

Small service businesses use TheIntern to text their own customers about their service. This page explains those texts and how to stop them.

Who texts you

Texts come from the business you hired (for example, your lawn or cleaning service), sent through TheIntern, which is run by Nimbus Nova LLC. The business writes or approves every text.

How you opted in

You get these texts because you gave the business your mobile number to arrange or receive service, or texted the business yourself. Businesses using TheIntern agree to text only customers who expect to hear from them, and never to text bought or shared lists.

What the texts are about

  • Appointment reminders and changes to your service day
  • “On my way” notes on the day of service
  • Payment reminders for service you received
  • Replies to questions you send the business

We don't send marketing texts on behalf of other companies.

How often

Message frequency varies with your service, usually a few messages a month.

Stop and help

  • Reply STOP to stop texts from the business's TheIntern number. You'll get one message confirming it.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email support@nimbus-nova.com.
  • You can also just tell the business you'd rather not get texts.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your number is used only so the business can text you about its service. It isn't sold or shared for marketing. See our privacy policy.
